Hi. I’m Lucas, a blockchain protocol engineer at Consensys, where I work on Teku and the Ethereum protocol itself. It’s the kind of work where a single line of code can ripple across a global network of nodes, which keeps things interesting.

Over 10+ years of backend engineering I’ve developed a soft spot for systems architecture, high-scale distributed systems, and shipping fast with small teams. Mostly Java these days, with whatever else the problem demands.
